Yeah, it really is a very scenic and unique place. There's really no major city quite like it... because why the hell would you build a city in this crazy topography? It made sense for early frontier defense and transportation/mining/milling, but its certainly not a city built for any form of efficiency. Which can make it frustrating, fractured, and really cool at the same time.
Even after living here for a long time, I'm constantly discovering views that are new to me. The crazy terrain just continually gives you new and unexpected vantage points. Just a really interesting and kinda mysterious mix of natural features and old urban density in the craziest places.
