Hey! For Flickr links, you need to use a direct URL, like this:

Flickr makes it unnecessarily difficult to find the static url to your actual photo. If you click embed, you can see the jpg is here: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...ef90a40c_k.jpg

I like imgur because not only does it produce a static image url right away, but it allows you to simply choose some prefixed sizes.

this whole project still is a big surprise to me, and it's all happening on a very fast timeline. At this rate they might finish in just over a year. Any reason to think that this will be any different from the other recent UC towers built in the last ten years, one step above on campus student apartments?

The Summit is a cut above Chestnut is a cut above the new thing at 3700 Lancaster.

I honestly don't really like this project. I know that projects in this area are imperative to getting the supertalls built here, but this just seems like such an odd area for this type of building to me. Also, I think it's absolutely hideous.

It's not just you. The rendering looks like shit and it's rising mid-block on a narrow lot which could be an issue down the road

not a great pic but this is peeking into sight from the south street bridge. riding by on chestnut last night, iirc, the six stories are complete and the concrete floor of the seventh is underway

Good stuff helloworld, this will be a good angle when the building gets a bit taller.
