MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA | The GooglePlex | ? | ?

Okay, it's whimsical name for a whimsical and unnamed office building. it's nothing like any office building ever conceived, and Google wants it for a headquarters, according to Bloomberg:

I guess one can get away with that "roof" in a place that never sees snow. But is that glass or plastic? Hate to be in there during an earthquake. Does it just sway?

It may just flex, which would be a durable response.

I like it. Seems sort of simply but trend setting for the modern suburban office park.

I don't think that roof will look nearly as good in real life as it looks in those renders. It's a nice concept and all, but only because Google is swimming in money and can afford to blow a lot on a whimsical design that most companies couldn't afford.

This is neither a highrise nor a supertall proposal. Is there a "Suburban Office Park Proposals" subforum where this can go?

This is not a highrise, therefore has been moved to the General Developments thread.
