I've posted Kirby here before but he's now living with just me as the other two cats and their other owner have moved on. It's just as well as he's the type of cat that is better without other cats. Too bad his owner isn't adjusting to the change quite as well, however....

My cats!

This photo turned out to be less about Neko, and more about the newspaper - I must have taken this the morning after the rail vote in Honolulu!

My other cat, Opie (short for Ope'ape'a - the Hawaiian word for bat) has definite suicidal tendencies. She wouldn't have stood much of a chance from the 24th floor:

I don't have any pets currently but this is the cat I grew up with. Her name is Coati (koh-wah-tee), named after the southamerican racoon, she was always in the trash and pretty badly behaved when she was younger. The racoons are notorious trouble makers, hence why we named her that. Last summer we found out she had cancer so I took her photo thinking she didn't have much time left. Once she was put on medication she recovered but the vet only expected her to live a year to two more. She's 14 which is getting pretty old for a cat. However, she still acts like she is 3.

I have now officially posted a cat on the internet...

Haha. Her namesake:

From my recent foray into the Peruvian Amazon. The farmer (whose feet you can see) was trying to pull him off. The khaki leg is me. Little guy really liked me, wouldn't let go. Definitely troublemakers.

^ Nice. Not to turn this into the Coati Mundi thread but here is one I saw in the Ecuadorian amazon. I stopped for lunch and it tried to steal anything not nailed down at the restaurant.
