Coyne was the parcel for 330 N Green. I believe the building getting ready to start is 360 N Green on the north side of the tracks. I think 330 is still in search of a tenant.

^ Yes thats correct...I believe 330 north Green is the "the porch", Def my favorite of the bunch as far as design standpoint from Sterling Bay. Hopefully they can find a tenant soon.

This is now an old design. They recently made the tower skinnier and taller in design.

For those reasons I speculate maybe Chase works with Tishman at this site. 53 floors so only in the 750 ft range. Logically it makes sense but I don't know if Chase wants a downgrade in building brand/height in Chicago.

Their ~60 story NY tower is nearly as high as the Sears (w/o antenna) so even 53 floors and 1.1 MSF could be pretty tall, provided there are a lot of trading floors.

I dont believe they have, they changed the one north of the tracks which is where Boston Consulting is anchoring.

I may have confused this with 360 N Green St then.

chicubs111 is correct.

360 N Green is the project from Sterling Bay that is currently under consideration from Boston Consulting Firm as their headquarters here in Chicago.

330 N Green (aka The Porch) is the former location of Coyne College that currently has no signed tenants at the moment.

Side note..... I'm glad to hear someone besides me loves the design of the building.

This is totally subjective of course, but I completely disagree. There is something very elegant about a more consistent roofline (as is common in European cities).

Chicago has a skyline along the lake. It would be cool to have an area that looks like Berlin-Mitte (if not exactly Paris or Vienna).

Yes, on board with this. The best of these Green St. developments remind me of some of the new stuff going up in Hamburg, Cologne, etc but with a Chicago-industrial feel. More please!

Yeah this is my hope and the best outcome. That Chase is like "We'll build with you here, but make it taller than BOA's and BMO's new buildings please" This would also be super close to BOA's building and block a lot of their east view lol.

Do you have links to renderings of the new design?

I'll echo the others - this is also probably my favorite of Sterling Bay's recent designs in the area. The 5 floor cantilever ceiling on the 'porch' is super cool. On the website they even show some bench swings!

While I like 330 design as well, would not be surprised if this gets tweaked. Have yet to see a new office development post COVID that doesn’t have private balconies, and this was designed pre 800 Fulton- the views from the “porch” are significantly diminished.

Also there’s got to be a reason they went with 360 first, when it seemed pretty clear that 330 was their next intention. Maybe BC just liked 360 better…
