Seems we're 'nearly there', photos from today

These joints definitely suggest something:

Apologies for Beijing's air quality.

Enjoy!

I like how this otwer is looking far better than it does in its renderings. I would love to see this building in LA'a skyline or Minneapolis. For that matter it would look great in almost any skyline.

This city is transforming overnight! With the development here in the city center, coupled with the preparations for the olympics, Beijing is finally reaching the point of being on par with Shanghai and Hong Kong, and with much more people than both of those cities, it's about time.

Not close to Shanghai in ANY way. Not even close. As for HK, lets not even talk about it.

They should build a twin, then throw in a few 280-300m buildings in the down town area, and then they will have a cute little skyline!

Okok I didn't want to be attacked. Beijing does have more people, or at least as many people as Shanghai. Look it up. And when I said on par with Hong Kong and Shanghai, I meant that to mean that it is now developing a skyline, and is on its way to looking like the major world city that it is. The olympics won't hurt either.

jeez, all that for a simple observation...

omg, did they build it along Jianguomen dajie? If they did, that street is becoming the main highrise boulevard in the city. Compared to Shanghai standards not too impressive, but for Beijing it is. Can anyone verify the location?
