Is that what it's supposed to be ?
I'm perplexed.

The base in, indeed, more appealing than the crown.

Exactly. At first I was skeptical about whether that design could work, but as the tower took shape it came out much better than I expected. The design is very art nouveau, a short-lived style that really should've been used on more buildings. It establishes itself as a landmark in its own right, which is very hard to do when you're sharing space with a building like the Burj Dubai, and has a distinctive, soaring presence among the low-rise, brick-and-mortar-feel Old Town.

Me too. I never really did like it until I say the pictures of it rising. Now it's probably one of my favorite buildings in Dubai. I love those lights on the side of the balconies.

I think it's much nicer at night. Can someone take a picture of it at night when the lights are on? Thanks!

This building is done, all fences gone, landscaping done, etc. All that has to happen is to open the hotel which is due to happen in a few days.

Lightbulb any more photos?

does anyone have any photos of interiors? and the roof - the best if all 4 views.
I'm looking for some lighting, so the best if you have any night photos.
