That above photo is fucking amazing, wish it were straight though. The skyline of NYC just gets more and more insane everyday.

He regularly takes some good shots of the skyline. A few more looks...

Happy Cozy Wintertime y’all . .
. . As I’ve said many times before . .
the Brooklyn Tower is solidly in the Best Building category . .
Great vertical ribs, great color, perfectly placed setbacks
all the way up . . spectacular height, the whole bit . .
But a number of folks were singing praises of a great crown . .
“Resembling a king’s crown”, crown “complimenting the verticality”
. . My own eye gets annoyed when I hit the defining piece
of the building . . I barely see pathetic niblets rising above the parapet
. . mere timid stumps unworthy of this slender monumental spire . .
instead of proportionally significant skyline defining forms . .
At the top of the building, the vertical ribs should transform into fierce
spikes rising up into the sky . . Give us at least 30 ft of crown to see
from the street . .
CPT and tower 3 pulled the same stunt . .
Oh well, Still Love the Brooklyn Tower, a lot . .

This building is turning out great. Really sharp looking design. I'm curious how the units will feel with all that dark glass. I'm not a big fan of clear glass / bright daylight most days, so I think it would be good for someone like me. Others may not like it.
