I feel like Vesper is taking forever to rise compared to her sisters.

Rainey St density is nuts and getting nuts-ier (probably gonna be a word soon).

Great photo updates everywhere, gillynova!

Also, I like the view from the west (top photo) more than the view from the east (bottom photo)....

I drove by two weeks ago and thought that billboard over the construction site was a fabulous idea from a marketing standpoint.

I think the density makes up for some of the ugliness. It's pretty crazy to see that wall of buildings from I35.

If it's density for the sake of density that we're after, at least we have a measuring stick by which to measure our progress:

Nothing compares to the Kowloon Walled City. I don't think we need to fear that for Rainey.

In a strange way, I wish that place still existed.

The vesper is a fairly handsome building, albeit a copy paste of the hanover projects. The other two hotels are better looking than the homewood sweets (although I grant you that anything would be). All in all, I think the uglyness is due in part to the ongoing construction and I have faith that the whole row of buildings won't be an eyesore when finished and may even be pleasing to look at.

The Vesper is nice looking and will stand out amongst its bland friends on that row.

Same with the tower Pearlstone Partners has planned for the site next to Cambria once Vesper wraps up. It’ll be the tallest on that row.

The billboard paneling gives this one more charm than most construction projects around here. I don't remember any others having done that.
