I know it's a random comment, but I wish your Chicago Model was interactive with VR headsets. Me O My that would be fun!

I believe the end date was supposed to be 2023, but with the project being split into two parts, who knows if the timeline gets longer.

I actually have all the tools to make that happen! I would just need time to work out how game play would work. Like would you only experience it from the ground or would you also have a flying ability or a jet pack or something lol.

Unlike NEMA I'm not digging the painting of the concrete on this one. This really would of looked better with just the raw concrete texture especially in close ups.

And thus a new business was born in making VR "games" to walk around in virtual models of some of the world's best architectural cities

My rendering company already creates architectural VR walkthroughs. If I can get enough buzz going I could possibly get this project in the works! Maybe make it available for the Occulus Go.

A beautiful spirit. His flame burned bright but it was destined to be snuffed out too soon...too perfect to walk among us.

Or just too much crack and booze.

The way this one turned out gives me hope that the rest of the development will be really nice. The design is great, and while its Wells street side isn't perfect, it's much better than most of the other buildings there.

I want the next towers to start ASAP

Good to see they are working hard on the riverwalk part of things though!

Same - though luckily there's 2 small towers at the corner of Harrison & Wells U/C right now. That's kind of like a small consolation right? Nonetheless, they need to get the others in. I'd bet that if Chicago won the HQ2 sweepstakes and they chose either OPO or the 78 that you'd see another tower kick off pretty soon after.
