It was bad. It has been closed for the last month. I heard through LNSA that Giant paid the developer for flood doors...and that the developer did not install them. Lawsuit coming??

Taken Monday

Anyone know why the second tower has slowed to a crawl? It looks like the first tower is mostly leased.

Riverwalk is a very elegant complex in all these skyline photos. It turned out much better than predicted (IMO).

For me, the way the black trim outlines it makes it really stand out. It's something I didn't notice in the renderings

Really? Why?

Just called and they said they have no plans for closing tomorrow...

I'm going to be honest, I hadn't yet checked the weather reports.

Theoretically this should test the repairs made by PWD after the flooding last month. If the pumps work we should be fine. Emphasis on should.

I am not a meteorologist but the Inquirer article only mentions flooding concerns along the Delaware, not the Schuylkill. So maybe any flooding along the Schuylkill isn't anticipated to be that bad, but I guess we'll see. Either way, if I parked my car anywhere that flooded last time, I'd definitely move it today.

Can anyone answer my question though? What happened to the second tower?

Agreed
In the end it comes down to the materials used and they did a nice job.
All the glossy renderings won't change shoddy materials

Has there been any progress since the flooding?

Something(s) have been off about this projects build since the start. I vaguely reading early on that PMC was doing something different with this project, internal managers instead of external, or the other way around. (Maybe to improve the quality of the finished apartments?) But in any case, it seems to me that whatever they tried hasn't worked in terms of running a smooth build. Starting and stopping, building without permits.

BTW, usually PMC has another project lined up as they finish up with one. Any idea what's next, wasn't there buzz about something along JFK Blvd?

PMC might start that low rise project across the street next (would be my guess). If I recall correctly, there was a permit issue that delayed the start of the project (which was worrisome because it seemed like a basic filing someone screwed up).
Maybe there’s a glass shortage with the larger global supply chain issues right now? Is there still work going on inside the tower?
