its way too short, but oh well. Nothing can really be done about that.

I think this is one of the nicer projects in SA. Hopefully it goes forward with no problems. Looking forward to a full-fledged rendering.

Based on the article, the header needs to be updated to 13 floors.

Saw some bulldozers on site tearing up the parking lot. Would that be related to this project?

No, those bulldozers are related to a project in Cleveland.

Here's the site plan. It doesn't include the elevations, but it does show the stacking plan. The 134 foot height is to the main roof - which is 134 feet 11 inches exactly. The mechanical roof is probably another 5 feet based on what I could measure.

This attached file includes a drawing show the height as 151 feet 11 inches and is calling it a 13-story building - there are 13 levels in the image.

I noticed that Rhode Partners is listed as the architect for this project. The same architect that's doing the Floodgate and also the Independent in Austin. Pretty cool.

It's a minor thing, but I think the alignment of the balconies looked more balanced before. Now it has a three-story gap at the bottom with nothing to frame it from below as before. Whatever though... build it.

Cool. Thanks for posting that. I missed it since all I was checking for was that the elevations were the same from the last ones we saw.

I like this building. Rhode Partners does nice buildings with a lot of attention to detail.

I see what you mean. I still think it looks good. That 3-story gap at the bottom is roughly the same size as the 2 other gaps a few floors above, it's just that those gaps have vegetation growing through them so they're less noticeable.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks sorta eh. To be candid, this building reminds me of a slightly smaller version of the student apartment buildings going up in West Campus here in Austin.

Then again, not too familiar with that area. Maybe it would look good in context of the surroundings.
