This one's gonna jumpstart that whole corridor north of the Ben to Spring Garden.

The Seaport Museum Conversion is another catalyst project as well.

Anyone know the status of the 95 Cap?

Delayed by two years
Construction might take place by 2023 or 2024

I really hope we cap 95 and 676 one day. Also we would be nice to make it easier to connect to 2nd street if we removed the on ramp at Race street. We need a LRT or trolley that somehow connects to Center city. Then the waterfront would explode with development

I drove by this today. A ton of activity. Big hole in the ground already. This is a go.

This Thursday, April 21st, at 1pm (ugh) they're opening the lot to the public to view the incredible archaeological finds they've unearthed on the lot, which they've been diligently recording, and sharing details at https://www.westshipyard.com/

Most of it's probably going to get destroyed during the construction of the building, but a big reason why the park's there is to preserve the rest of the archaeology on the site.

I'm seriously not one to give shout-out to multi-billion-dollar organizations, they don't need me to cheer them on, but outside of federal projects, has there ever been this scale of preservation done as part of a private development like this? One Water Street couldn't even bother to fix the Belgian blocks on historically-designated Front Street.

Saw some more activity on this one while on the El. Couldn't get a great look but there seems to be a smaller, maybe temporary crane on site now

We need someone to go by here during the day and see what's going on. It's been moving slow, but someone on Reddit is trying to say it's stalled now. I don't know if I believe it or not.

Looks like they are still working on the foundation. 1000 Broad Just got above ground level and 210 S12th started like last spring and still hasn't reached ground level as of earlier this month.

Yeah, I agree that nothing from the photos or from when I passed by made it seem like it is stalled. They also had to do the historical excavation before they started digging further.

I'm always nervous about waterfront projects, especially now with the economy being what it is. I feel in the like the last boom cycle, the waterfront had the biggest, most ambitious projects and in the end, all we got were 2 partially unfinished WFS towers. Remember Bridgeman's View or the WTC! Trump Tower! Haha. There could have been a few other mega projects.

I'm hopeful on this one, seems like it's going to happen.

heh, I saw that comment too and said, 'better head here for the real down low'

Not a lot of news on the Penn's Landing redevelopment plan with Badger Group but always figured that was years off

Hello, this is my first post with this username but i've been a member here since 2005, I had to create a new account.

This project has been put on the shelf. The GC Hunter Roberts removed all their staff and trailers. I heard they're just going to backfill the hole to street level and revisit it whenever that day arrives.

Edit This move was made by the Durst group i'm hearing.
