Thank god this tower’s height was grandfathered before the Nelson Park shading nonsense started.

Would have been quite upsetting seeing this design reduced to the new standard 135ish metre range.

Not construction, but excavation has begun.

So exciting.

Cant even imagine seeing this one rise up above ground.

Going to be such a gem watching it go up.

Same way Vancouver House was.

This project will not only be a landmark for Vancouver but will be one of, it not the most recognizable tower in Canada. Mark my words..

I was fortunate enough to work on it so I may be biased.. I know the building inside and out so can help answering any questions

how will all those high up trees be maintained? water, trimming, weeding, etc. also, what happens with the open hallways when there's a wind storm and rain falling sideways.

Its brilliant that this will pierce the skyline along with Trump and Shangrila.

It seems a once a decade occurrence in Downtown.

While it is nice to have something different, it would have been way sicker if they built something faux art deco (Like 1400 Alberni). What do you think the chances of another new proposal looking like that are for another skyscraper in Van?
