Looks great! Much nicer than all four of the other Richmond stations.

Indeed. Easily the classiest looking station out of all the above-ground stations. That dark-black contrasting with the wood paneling excellent. Also love the little protruding "T" Translink sign design detail there.

Do we know if there was any design for dedicated drop-off/pick-up spots or roadway re-design in or around the station?

Edit: Found this, but its not very detailed in that aspect:

There's a kiss and ride in the corner but not sure how the access will work to it.

Maybe a right turn from No. 3 Rd.

The black paneling will show bird poop - so hopefully it'll be cleaned.

The stupid tiny home walkway is still thriving.

Different contractors? Perhaps the work had to be split up pre and post elevator install for the sake of scheduling and delay tolerance.

Now that the elevator on the south side of the station is complete, they've been doing work on the stairs and elevator on the north side of the station. They're also still in the process of adding new escalators, so I suspect the project as a whole is nowhere near completion.

It wouldn't surprise me if the hoarding around the south elevator entrance is because of electrical cables running overhead to support the escalator installation work.
