A big tech anchor would be ideal. Or at least something that can fill 1 mil-sqft or close to it.

I believe if Vornado got a large tenant, say something close to a million sf or so, another redesign could be in effect. But one way or the other, foundation work would have to commence. I'm not sure if they will be building a completely new foundation, or using part of the current foundation, but I don't expect we'll see much digging. LIRR tracks also run underneath a portion of the site.

I don’t want to see this compete with 175 or 350 Park. Assuming that Vornado does not have a tenant, I assume that they won’t build on spec.

Demo theater still taking shape. The few blocks around Penn Station will continue to be a construction nightmare for the next decade or so. But will be so worth it.

Some renderings I've made of Penn 15, now that I've updated my model to match the latest images of the northern elevator core:

It will be an absolute behemoth. But in the context of all the towers that will rise around it, including the Macy’s tower, not as stark as it would seem.

It's alright, could've been better.

What's the completion date for this one?

Those renderings really put it into perspective.

If we thought Hudson Yards added a lot, the towers slated for the district are going to be monolithic with the bulk, never mind the fact that many will be near or over super tall status.

Folks thought NYC was building nothing but skinnies but big towers need love too and coming in big styles.

For comparison, the ESB vs Penn15, and anybody who has seen the ESB in person will tell you its frikin massive. Not only tall but thick. Takes up a damn block!

Excited for this, all the Penn towers and eagerly awaiting Hudson Yards Phase two.

^ Yeah NYC come 2035 is gonna be ridiculous.

Penn Station Area
PABT Redevelopment
HY phase 1 full completion and phase 2 full completion
Midtown East completing a bunch of towers, including ones not yet announced
57th Street continuing to get bigger and bigger
That possible UWS supertalls twins
East River Bridges skyscrapers
Random Towers such as Macy's

And all of this is just in Manhattan, the rest of the Boroughs are doing amazing as well, including Jersey City

A tower that size, I would give it 3-4 years from start of construction.
