And wow! This thing is already in the 400-foot range.
It's growing like a weed! A very large and beautiful weed.

I would really like to see the tower in place in these images (and maybe 175 Park)...

Thanks for the suggestions, I will try to make some montages from those angles soon.
In the meantime, here is a rendering of 270, 175 Park, 343 Madison, and 520 Fifth from the Top of the Rock. When the time comes I'll have to add 570 Fifth as well. I'm real happy with how this one turned out!

It’s a shame that 341 Madison won’t have a crown.

Do you mean 343 Madison Avenue?

Yes. It encompasses 341-347 Madison.

I quite like the big boxy parapet of 343's current design— it gives a nice Miesian look to its proportions.

I don’t see a huge difference in the crown of 343 Madison and 270 Park. The crown at 343, if executed well, would probably look better. But it would be surrounded by much taller buildings. That’s why it was important to get a nice crown at 270. It will be a focal point, and stand out on the skyline.

Yes, 343's crown has a nice transparency to it which has a lot of potential. I believe 270's crown is clad with alternating strips of glass and matte panels, though none of the renderings released so far lets us get a good look at it. The best we get so far is this sliver from the official video:

I think the 343 crown, which is supposed to be occupied space, will be similar to the occupied space at the top of 270. At least that’s what they hinted at.

I don't which of the two new Park Ave supertalls I'm most excited about. They're both absolute stunners.

The last image in post #3062, Park Lane is visible. I hope something grandiose rises there to fill that gap.

It definitely will, but it appears that Witkoff will hold off for a few years since he renovated the hotel. I don’t think he spent too much though. I suspect that it was less than $50m.
