Curious how the windows go as windows have been delayed due to supply chain issues on a lot of projects nationwide.

At this point, I’d take seeing even a mockup. I just want to know the exact tone this tower will have.

Xing,

Someone posted this photo on YIMBY. Can you add in 270 and 175 Park? 520 Fifth too.

I agree with you. Why the wait? We are lucky in Austin with our 1,022'er. We are at Site Prep; concrete is just about ready to pour and we already have a mock-up with three colors of glass, piping and mullions. I'm not sure if the tower will have all three hues of the glass, but it sure is nice to see the mock-up on site.

The wait for 270 Park Ave. is getting frustrating!

Guys, the facade will start soon. Sometime around early-mid August. As you can see also the fireproofing on the first and second office floors are done, once those are done you'll see the facade. Also, we are at the last floor level before the first setback. Every setback will make this tower speed faster due to less floor plates towards the top.

Thanks! How many feet tall do you think it will be by the end of the year?

The fireproofing being done on said floors doesn't really equate to façade installation. Facade installation can occur whenever, some buildings don't install cladding until fully fire proof, but for comparable buildings like One Vanderbilt and One WTC, cladding was not installed until fireproofing had reached the 8th & 6th floors (respectively). A mid August date is plausible with this building having reached that point in the future but there is never a fully understood time table for cladding. But cladding installation is not what people are commenting on, they are commenting on not seeing a façade mock up.

Also, construction is not on the last floor before the setback, there are still 2 more floors, the third being the setback itself.

Xing,

Can you add the full 270 to this? Would 175 work too?

Happy to match my 270 model into that shot, if it's alright with mrnyc! 175 would be obscured on the other side of MetLife from One Vandy there. Incidentally, I've just done a rendering from a similar angle on Park Ave, using a 2018 rendering by Adamson Associates:
