^They're rehabbing it, so it becomes theirs as valuable staging area until the tower's completion date.

Membrane needed to be replaced as well as concrete repair to the roof of the garage. Or so I've heard.

So when Brendan Reilly called it "failed park" a couple years back he was being serious? It's literally broken.

He was referring more to the design and layout, but yes,

That park had to go though. So edgy. Literally.

Well, there are only 70 condos to sell as the rest of the units in the tower will be rental.

PS, there's been a blue and yellow Case Foundation crane on site since Thursday, looks like one of the bigger, older, cranes they have. The ones they were using on the Spire site I think. Case has been around for a long time, it's fun to think of all the foundations these giant old crawler cranes they use have laid.

No sign of a cassion rig yet, but I'm sure it's on it's way from another site.

The 3-4 story one or the really small one?

Both should be replaced by something as tall as the bases of the buildings that bookend that block (which look to be 8 or 9 stories).

I'm a big fan of Sterns work, and this is my favorite project right now for the area. Glad its moving along.

It has that old world charm. That Great Gatsby type of vibe.

The height is respectable as well. Had this been shorter, I don't think it would of looked as good. For some reason, these Central Park looking developments really shine when they are tall. Either way, I think its a great addition to the area.

Great Gadsby maybe (a nouveau riche man of little taste), but Art Deco and this building have literally nothing to do with "old world" architecture. The style was originally about modernism and progressive ideas, which is literally the opposite of what building in throwback styles is all about. Also, this is an 850' highrise, which is roughly twice as tall as anything built in the "old world" up until the 1900's.
