^If uptown and downtown were combined Houston would clearly be America's 3rd best skyline

I also think no other North American city's skyline has transformed more significantly in the last 20 or 30 years than Austin's. The only other cities that even come close are Toronto and New York

I genuinely thought I was lookign at Edmonton there ^

Of course, upon seeing the difference in the buildings, I was directed to my conclusion that I'm wrong. Great skyline Austin!

Might change in a few years with Austin's 1st supertall in development, but for right now, I'd give Edmonton's skyline the edge. A lot more bulk and heft with the highrises West of Downtown.

The tallest building in Austin (under construction but already topped out) seen in the photo above is already taller than Edmonton’s tallest. That said, Austin’s skyline still has a ways to go to catch up with Edmonton’s (IMO).
