Which is precisely why it works well in the location that it's in--it isn't the vertical focal point of the cityscape, so it needn't have a sense of ascendancy. I'm not apologizing for it, either; I quite like the tension between the curves of the paired ellipsoids and the sheared roofs. My preference, though, would be for the taller tower segment to have a flat roof so as to fully embrace the geometric simplicity.
