I like it, but not for North America. Looks like it belongs on the other side of the world.

Don't worry, Toronto will end up with Singapore like demographics in a few years.

It looks like a spinal cord. Still prefer the previous tower design but this isn't bad per se.

I like that they retained the bronze color of the beams. The podium on the west side is also better integrated into the design than before.

How doesn't it belong in North America? It's a tasteful nod to the 70s buildings in the area.

Perhaps it could benefit from an airy crown (glass fins maybe?) like in the first render.

Are you including Oxford in that, caltrane? Otherwise I only see 3 proposed supertalls, two of which only barely slip above the mark.

Good enough!

You need 5 supertall to get 1 supertall built, so I'll take the Oxford Place proposal at face value if it means, we finally get something built here.

wow, to be honest the original rendering was just...simply awesome, would rank it top 3 in all proposals world wide...this new one is disappointing...but good height, im still surprised at how strong the real estate market in Toronto is considering that Toronto/Canada's economy is not faring as well

I much prefer the original design, but the structural expression of the new one helps it really stand out from the rest of the buildings in the area - or the Toronto skyline in general. I think either way, this will be a great addition.

At least the demo is moving ahead and they aren't futzing around for years while the thing crawls through approvals, revisions, etc.
