Do you ever wish your city kept its original name?

My theory about why the name Los Angeles stuck is that when it became an American city we had to drop all that Mexican-Catholic woman-worshipping stuff about Our Lady and The Queen and all that

I would have preferred my hometown of Akron to have taken the name of its Greek origin, Acropolis.
