Hello everyone! I've been lurking for a while but this is my first time posting.
I live in BC, Canada but I spent some time in Ulm during the summer visiting my girlfriend and I managed to take a couple of photos of the city. Now, I'm no photographer but I thought I'd show them anyways just because I think the city is really neat. The city's claim to fame is the tallest church in the world, the Ulmer Munster (161m), and being Albert Einstein's birthplace.
Ulm's medieval city centre was bombed heavily in WWII which destroyed about 80% of the core. The city centre now consists of modern buildings mixed in with the old ones, all centered around the Munster. The city is not very big (pop. 120,000) but it has a very nice pedestrian area and a great feel to it. Hope you enjoy the photos!
the Munster/Minster just towers over everything in the city
This is an expensive hotel. Notice how slanted the building is? It's supposed to be a cool experience to live/sleep in a room with a very noticeable slant!

That's all I've got for Ulm. I had a great time there and I'll be visiting again this Winter.
Yes, Kevin, I believe it's the tallest church in the world. That's what I read when I was there and I checked a couple of sites to confirm that. Going through my photos, I regret that I didn't get a shot of it at night time because it looks fantastic when it's lit up.
