That and a number of high-rise condos, any one of which contains more people than all of the houses in that picture. I agree that there are still too many parking lots, but they are slowly being developed. Hopefully the Stampede eventually goes ahead with their "Main Street" project and builds a parkade to replace their parking, but I'd argue that if all of the houses shown were still there it would be seen as a wasted space - that low of density so close to downtown isn't what we're aiming for today.

^Wow, that is an amazing number of projects completed in the last 5 years, 2 years, or currently u/c. No wonder downtown feels like it is changing overnight. Just as many in the Beltline as the CBD.

Nicely geographically distributed too. Lots happening all over the place. But I do look forward to some areas being more "done" and having a more complete feeling. Practically all Centre City is still very much work in progress.
