Regarding Kenny Lawler, the current suspension is due to immigration issues stemming from the 2021 DUI guilty plea as per news articles, I believe.

Elks ticket sales moving at brisk pace tickets are dirt cheap on ticketmaster highest priced seats just 42 bucks! Looks like 30,000 plus. Bombers look like around a crowd of 27 or 28k for home opener. Lions ticks moving well looks similar pace to last year home opener. Stampeders looks around 23 to 25k.

Elks finally figured out that charging over $75.00/game for upper deck tickets is a little stupid. Thank God for Victor Cui being in charge here. He gets it.

Now let's win a home game or two this year!

The league will never survive the pandemic. It's gonna die I tell ya, die!!!

It would be interesting, the perception US fans have (on CBSSN and CFL+) to see a stadium with a decent crowd instead of the empty stadiums (not all) they have been seeing in the spring US leagues.

I think this should be a good rebound year for the league. 2 items I would like to see is Argos getting their own president and budget so they can emulate what BC and Montreal are doing for marketing and grassroots reach out. A CFL Video game for kids.

For those who don't know, Darcy Oake is the son of longtime CBCer Scott Oake and a hometown boy.

He made a big splash on Britain's Got Talent but IMO as a longtime magic follower he made a strategic mistake going from his manipulative act to escapes.

Nevertheless, his appearance was enough to get him a gig with The Illusionists show and later he appeared on AGT

It's not a great promo but at least it is a promo. The next good promo will be for the home teams to have some AIS. How are ticket sales in Calgary and Montreal as of now?

Week 1
Thursday, June 8 — B.C. Lions at Calgary Stampeders
Saturday, June 10 — Ottawa Redblacks at Montreal Alouettes

Us Elks fans are setting the bar high this year!

I'm hoping for a massive turnaround this year for the team but with Corny back at the helm at QB, I don't have much hope unfortunately.
