Interesting pics! And I don't think I've ever seen "Los Anglis" before.
Here, behind the words DO NOT is the northernmost building of the
Bellevue Terrace Hotel at the NWC of 6th and Figueroa. Perhaps
this photo was taken on 6th, looking north from between Figueroa and Flower?
In the second photo, at the left center edge I see the
Streicher Apartments at 454 S. Figueroa, so maybe both photos were taken
from the same spot? The building in the lower left corner of the second photo looks like it has the same roof as the building in the
lower right corner of this photo.
