I didn't know New Westminster had a skyline like that.
It really only looks like a proper skyline from that angle.
In the last few years there have been a handful of "taller" towers built but it's still quite patchwork downtown New West.
Recent pictures from Giallo, the Pier West development front and centre will be the tallest in the City for quite a while at 180m:

Ottawa-Gatineau's newest pedestrian and cyclist bridge, which is ironically maybe the second oldest bridge in the region (1880) is coming along. Formerly the Prince of Wales Bridge, now the Chief William Commanda Bridge.
Location just west of Downtown, north of Bayview. It crosses on Lemieux Island (Ottawa's historic water treatment plant) and connects to Gatineau's UQO and RapiBus.
Credit River Bridge twinning in Mississauga is moving along - it involves the creation of a second span next to the original 1930's structure, which will then see traffic shifted onto it for a few years as the original structure is rehabilitated.
MTO had originally planned to demolish the existing bridge and replace it, however heritage concerns caused them to keep it.
Upon completion, it will allow for modern shoulders on the bridge and provide space for the addition of an eventual HOV lane for this section of the QEW.
I don’t know how to upload a picture but would the abandoned Port Nelson Bridge in Northern Manitoba be considered a Great Canadian bridge that never was
