The construction site now has 4 construction cranes in place, in addition to the mobile cranes. The garage has been raised upwards to 10 levels (originally it was 5) and extended west. This is where the employee fitness center will be located.

The tower foundation has been poured, along with the exterior support piers. They are now pouring the elevator shafts and core of the tower and extending the wood panel flooring (for the coming concrete pours) to the outer piers.

Some current photos (NOTE: these are a mix of some of my pictures and those from OKCTalk forum)

An early site plan rendering of the project. There's been some minor modifications since it was released but it's still very close to what is being constructed.

Great looking building OKC! Similar in some ways to another 50 story Pickard Chilton tower being built in Calgary, Canada (named EAP= eighth avenue place). That one is receiving rave reviews on Calgary forums now it is over half complete, in spite of a cool initial impression after the renderings first came out. This building is more impressive than the Calgary tower so is sure to be a winner.

Been a while since anyone updated this thread... Looks like only about 100 feet of construction to go before Devon tops out. A major milestone is reached- notice the \ / shaped columns going in as they prepare to start the crown! Very exciting!

Very cool! I had no idea OKC was building a new tallest. This will really update and provide a much needed centerpiece in the skyline! Tulsa needs one too!

I don't remember exactly where or the exact words used but I remember reading somewhere that it is suppose to indeed look like that. Sorry, I don't have a link or direct quote.

Because it was being tracked in the "Construction - Highrise" threads. There are a lot of really great pictures there if you want some updates.

I'm not for OK, but for some reason I really like this tower. Haven't been back since 2009 and I don't believe that this building even broke ground yet because I don't ever remember seeing it. I need to go back and check it out in person.

The fact that Devon Energy decided to include a restaurant open to the public on the 49th and 50th floors was a smart decision. This allows for the public to see Oklahoma City from high up and is different from many similar skyscrapers built in the United States since the 1980's, which have no public space for sky high views.
