i drive by this one daily, moving at a real good pace. it can be a huge game changer for area, hope those main floor retail do well (cafe?). Inferno's next door and Dug Betty across street add lots of decentness to the area.

It would be amazing if the DeGagne lot could eventually be developed into something residential and high density. It's a great repair shop but the neighbourhood has changed in a way that makes that corner massively underutilized by a garage.

Are they actually going to have those bump outs in the curbs on Des Meurons? I'd be shocked. But damn looks nice.

The opposite side of the street though. Dug and Betty's is great. Not the best use of space with the parking lot. The other side of the lane where the houses and that dead condo project could use some work for sure.

1 bedroom terrace would suite me fine. Rent isn't unreasonable for that much living space.

the rents will need to be cheap if the tenants are going to be able to afford the leases on the supercars they're all going to drive according to the rendering

It's a nice building but it is kind of an orphan at this stage. It would be nice to eventually see a row of these go up to help create a destination.

tantalizing excerpt from the article:

That support also has caused the company to look to St. Boniface for its next apartment project, a “rather large” development targeted to begin next year, which will echo the current project.
