They haven't done much to the lot yet. I think they are working on the adjacent apartments between the alley and 7th St. The current fence on the lot appears to be for whatever they are doing with the apartments.

Edit: Went by the lot today and the lot is now fully fenced off. Should start seeing more movement soon.

Does anything know if anything is happening on this one, or is it stalled? I'm surprised by how quiet the forum has been.

Temp fencing was replaced today with construction fencing and Porta Potty's and sinks were also set up for the construction crew. I would expect equipment to be arriving very soon. Since it's nearly the end of the month, I'm thinking the beginning of June for construction to start.

Great news hopefully a ground breaking by 2Q. It's also surprising that this project will start before any of the other projects ie: Astra, Central Station etc.

Awesome! Wonder if they will have an "official" ground breaking date or if we should consider this the ground breaking

According to this article official groundbreaking was set for tomorrow, but is pushed backed to later this month because of the Katerra news.

Here's a shot of the giant hole where Skye will eventually go. I'm ready to see this one get started.

According to this article from Business Wire released today, Skye broke ground. I will try to get visual confirmation of this today on my way home.

I didn't see anything when I went by yesterday. Would be strange to see equipment onsite this morning and moving dirt already when there wasn't a single thing happening yesterday. May be a ceremonial groundbreaking? Keep us posted. If you can't make it by today, I'll be down later this afternoon.

I was by there this morning, there were three or four trucks parked along the north side of the lot and it appeared they were digging a trench on the NE corner of Garfield and 6th. Unsure if that’s part of SKYE or the aps project going on. There weren’t any trucks or equipment on the actual lot.

That may be for hydrant use. They applied for a permit to dig across the road for a line connection to the hydrant. Glad to see this one going again
