Skylines of the late 20th Century: 1970 - 2000

Post pictures of skylines, cityscapes, street scenes and skyscrapers of major cities during the late 20th century (1970s, '80s and '90s).

I am especially looking for pictures from around the turn of the millennium (late 1990s).

I do not have pictures of my own since I wasn't alive in those times. But I have some examples that I pulled from Wikimedia Commons:

New York City.

That Shanghai picture from the 90s really shows just how insane the growth has been there. And while not as drastic the other pics here do the same for their respective cities.
