The Final Plat was approved yesterday during the council meeting (as well as Apire's). So I hope this means it moves soon.

Looks like they are moving some dirt on link 2 today.

Tried to upload a picture from imgur, but not sure it’s displaying properly

The Link Phase 2

I spoke with someone who works for CA Ventures and I was told that they definitely are aiming to open Phase 2 by 2021. Also, I was told phase 2 will be called “Here Phoenix” (I double checked that name with him multiple times) and it will be marketed towards students.

Not too crazy about the name. Sounds like they are calling for their dog.

A lot of building names are really corny. Id appreciate if they would just stick to the classic "address is the name" or " The X building"

something. Im getting tired of The PLACE, THE COLONY, THE PUMPERNICKEL

Walked by today and they were piling up rebar columns on the lot.

Was watching it during lunch. Stafford guys said it will be 340' total. Not sure what the initial height is, but in the vid, looks like it's already around 200'.

Any photo-realistic renderings of the tower two yet? Would that be available in the records request through any submittal?

The records request I got did not show detailed renderings. I'm surprised that Shepley-Bullfinch hasn't updated their Link renderings either. Seems they would want to show off their work?

It has to be taller than Link 1 so it's probably going to be assembled at its full heigh, although I have to wonder how stable that is. In a wind storm cranes spin free, so in that case it can't bash into the building for obvious reasons.
