Three projects going up at once (the tower, the Drexel health building, and the K-8 School). This area is going to change fast.

Four actually. The article says that they expect to break ground in the apartment building in a few weeks.

There is also Lancaster Mews being built currently adjacent to this as well. Not sure if the timelines would overlap but that's a lot of projects going on on one block.

Jersey barriers are up around the 1 U. City Square site (which is odd IMO, considering that that stretch of 37th hasn't even been opened yet).

I just heard about a 200ft+ building NOT associated with UCity Square planned nearby. Probably gonna be several months before the full story comes out but someone spilled the beans prematurely. Hopefully one of the real estate reporters that lurks this forum for stories will pick it up.

Any general hints on location?

Those look like boom sections for a large crawler crane

Indeed they were! When I passed by on my commute to work this afternoon I saw they'd already assembled them and the crawler crane had trundled off over to the Drexel school where it's being used to erect its steel frame.

You can see what I assume is the crawler crane from 34th and Market quite clearly.

That might be for the new school going up at 36th & Warren? I stopped by the site of the tower a week ago and there wasn't anything going on. The site had been cleared but nothing else, not even remotely leveled. But the school was up to the 2nd level. Not the Drexel College of Nursing but the new semi public school.
