Who owns the surface lot just east of this? (Bottom right in that photo). I'm pretty sure that lot isn't part of the UCity Square development. Seems prime for development though. Is that lot party of University City Science Center or Drexel campus?

It’s currently parking for Drexel students/staff.

OK
That's fine.
I was expecting, maybe stainless steel panels, from the rendering.
I like the pattern
the brown is boring
it looks flatter
rendering looked more textured

This area is on fire
it's a phenomenon
good scale
powerhouse

The streets look very pedestrian friendly
lot's of trees
I would have liked the bike lane on the outside of the parking lane and clearly marked green but at least there is one
lanes look quite wide
Clearly marked traffic calming pavements for the cross walks and intersections maybe

I'm still wondering if maybe those panels pictured in the rendering will be installed over the brown glass--essentially spandrel glass--before this is completed. I hope so.

My guess is Drexel. I've never seen it included in any UCSC mock ups. But I can't recall seeing Drexel present any ideas for it either. How about another one of their big and tall dorms.

Correct, it’s currently a Drexel parking lot.

It's still odd how this came out nothing like either rendering. Especially the way it is very flat. I don't hate it but it is odd.

It's a lot better in person, but I agree this turned out much worse than the renderings. Wonder if it can be chalked up to supply chain issues.

I like the walkway better than the building.
