It looked like it! Looks they dropped off some more materials including those two porta-potties. I'm thinking we could see ground breaking soon.

I get the feeling they are going to start soon. Every time I go past there, there is new stuff on site. The new hoarding and port potties, etc.. certainly make it look like it'll be soon.

Someone on the Calgary section said they thought Mawer had signed as a tenant in one of the buildings. How do we know who has signed already? I also thought these were going ahead on speculation?

Sure does! It's not tall, but certainly exciting! Another entire block of inner city parking gone It will also be the first project to expand the +15 network south of the tracks. I wonder if they will ever build one across to Centre 10?

Even though I'd love to see a 700 footer on that spot.... I can live with it. They're not bad looking buildings at all! (Let's just not make habit of it though)! LOL

They have new hoarding all around the site I noticed on Saturday. Looks great, also looks like it's going ahead This is one of the most exciting projects outside of the CBD. I hope the podium areas will include more than just the two restaurants fronting onto the underpasses though.

Exciting indeed. The building itself is fairly ho-hum, but the integration into the underpass and also another lot along side the tracks disappearing make this one exciting.

Does anyone have any info on the amount of retail in this one? In the new render it looks to be 6 - 10 bays. There's no info on the Centron website I could find.

I really like the treatment to the underpasses along 4th and 5th. It really opens it up, which seems more friendly.

Hard to say, but I do know that there is a restaurant on each side by each underpass. That alone will be awesome. Any more retail and it's a total bonus.
