WEEKS OF 12/24 + 12/31 + 1/7

Over the next three weeks, we're working on removing excess soil from some areas, drilling and pouring secants on the northeast and southeast sides of the site. We’re also continuing the waterproofing along 41 and 55 Broad Street. There will be no construction on Christmas or New Years Day.

Very nice to see. Finally this tower is rising.

The Lower Manhattan skyline will really benefit from this tower, as there's nothing comparable (yet) outside the WTC complex.

It's not raising yet, they are still piling. There will be 193 piles ranging from 30ft to 100ft resting on solid granite bedrock. Not sure how many more piles they have left.

Looks like there's a long way to go before this starts rising.

Hopefully they get a live cam up in the future along with continuing the week by week updates. Excellent status!

Another very tall gem rising. One of the best designs in Lower Manhattan in years.

Its in tune with what has happened.

Progress is slow!

Hopefully it will pick up by Summer time.

Looks like they're done with foundation work and ready for the next phase: going vertical.

APRIL 1, 2019
BY DANA SCHULZ

To wrap up our tour, we asked Eugene what projects he’s most excited about, and without hesitation, he mentioned CetraRuddy’s supertall tower at 45 Broad Street. The 1,115-foot-tall building will have 200 condos when completed, and it’s just about ready to get off the ground.

A peek at a model in this pic...

Not sure who the friend is...

Nice models,

I take it that's an old height figure/without the parapet?

That might be a scenario model for 55 Broad if it were to be redeveloped. Or it could just be a random model plopped next to 45 Broad St. Architect offices aren't always neat.

^ That's possible. Also could have been an alternate version of this tower or another tower somewhere else.

Similar to 9 Dekalb, this could be waiting for finance before the real work occurs. Could explain the slow process thus far, and in site preparatory fashion taking weeks to clear or prepare an already cleared or bare site.

Again, not much action going on around that site.

Gardens go vertical! Design concepts at #45BroadStreet include an open air atrium and indoor/outdoor garden, offering panoramic city views of the city.
