5 minutes ago. Posting this, despite the bad light, because those trucks just turned up, after a few days of basically nothing happening.

What the hell is the big deal about this boring sub 600' glass box. It's basically filler.

Is that a bad thing? Is there even any unwarranted hype? I feel people are being reasonable with it, and it's simply more substantial than highrise thread fare.

There is no big deal? It's a solid design for an office building in the Loop, and much better than the POS Walgreens that sat there unused

What's with this silly comment?

We all have lives. Nobody is making a "big deal" about this tower. It's another tower with its own thread, like the hundreds of threads in this forum about hundreds of towers going up throughout the world.

I mean, you act as if we're out there dry-humping this thing. It's a nice office tower replacing a Walgreens, and we're just doing what skyscraper forumers do. Discussing it.

^^^ And enjoying near daily construction updates on two towers going up simultaniously next to each other. Some of us follow these forums to learn about construction from the ample photos posted as well.

It's not so much that this is a great building rather it's about having a great fellow former who is photo-documenting it.

C'mon. Construction is fascinating. I wanna keep watching from James_Mac's prime ass perch.

This is good stuff.

If you don't like the people here, and the content then why are you still here?

Sure does sound familiar.

Maybe in two years you'll even come back here to admit you were wrong.
