I've been getting lazy on the uploading and posting part. Then again, it hasn't changed too much.

The footprint looks tiny compared to all the new developments around!

Could they please tell 900 W Randolph about their secret glass supplier.

Also that silver is pretty fire. My theory has been that this building is going to exceed expectations and although this is only a tiny bit of material, I think this is a very good sign.

Very nice glass. Looks like they spent some extra money into it, atleast on the lower levels.

Those spandrels... f'n beautiful.

It's rare we even get a curtain wall on a residential tower, let alone one this nice.

I haven't seen that before.

I think that's awesome.

This building is amazing in so many ways. What an absolute mountain of concrete and engineering. From almost not moving forward to what is unfolding before our eyes...this one is something special. I can't help but have HJ in my thoughts watching this masterpiece rise. What an amazing addition this will be from one of this cities legendary architects. First the Thompson Center gets saved and now this. Good for Chicago.

I forget but are the first few floors of the base going to be used for parking? And yes, the glass and metal spandels look quite impressive. I've had my doubts with the rendering, not all excited like everyone else, but I'm beginning to think that this building may turn out to be quite impressive. I look forward to watching it climb higher.

You can see typical floor plans here. Looks like apartments/amenities in the front of the podium and parking garage in the rear. 7 stories with parking and 320 spaces total.

This Morning

Late Afternoon

It's hard to see, but some of the rebar was up for the columns for the next floor by the end of the day today. Seems like this one will finally start to climb faster. Expecting to start to see them do 1-2 floors a week. We will see.
