Not trying to stir shit, but how come you're confident in this project, which has shown few signs of life since being announced, but not Opus, which has at least made tangible, visible progress?

There doesn't appear to be anything moving in the right direction on this project.

Ahhhhh....because Integral has a website (http://Integral-Online.Com) and I can look up who their CEO is, as well as, who are their other executives. Not mention I can go to https://www.linkedin.com/company/integral-group-us, and see employees that work for the company - none of which I can say for Olympia Heights Management. I hope you see the distinction. It is really very obvious.

These are the facts as of today and nothing has changed from any forum or blog post:
  • Integral Group purchased the 811 Peachtree parcel.
  • Integral Group has only said publicly the project is moving forward.
  • The 40K retail space that was listed on Loopnet says no longer available.
  • The Bank of the Ozarks was listed a the financial partner in the project.

Sura, with all do respect 1125 Peachtree was announced in 2005. No news is sometimes just NO NEWS - Not always bad news.

I know a couple added facts as I spoke with the guy who brokered the land sale.

They pay a penalty every month they don't develop the land, and they receive offers for the land on a regular basis and had refused to sell thus far. Removal of fencing may be a sign that they are prepping to sell the land.

G-nuts, they could have sold the land with the fencing. I suspect the Midtown Alliance told them to remove the fence if they are not ready to move forward on development in the short term.

At this point, I don't really care if this one moves forward. When it was announced in January 2014, there wasn't as much in the pipeline and compared to everything else that was just built or under construction at the time (i.e. Novare's Skyhouses), it looked good. And it was one of the tallest proposals at that time. Now, the design and the height is "meh" compared to what's been proposed lately. And, even better looking buildings (NCR, lilli) have been announced and delivered in the time between Eviva's announcement and today. Eviva is so 2014. It's impact in 2018 is greatly diminished.

There was also a financial crisis in between that time. I have no idea if this is dead or not, but the writing on the wall definitely isn't spelling out "Coming soon"

I also agree with this. Eviva is old news whether or not it gets built.

I started a GoFundMe fundraiser to aid in the burial of Eviva...
I already picked out a small white coffin, reserved for infants, to reduce the number of pall bears needed to carry her to the final resting place.
Does anybody care to join me in a mock funeral?

But now ... eviva-peachtree lives again!?

http://www.eviva-peachtree.com

The site is back with an updated timeline and an announcement about a retail grocery and a hotel segment and a possible second tower. WTF?

I want to believe so badly. I really do ...

811 Peachtree - old Eviva

Didn't see a new thread for Society Living but it's about 20 feet above ground now. I'm guessing that's just the lobby level. So excited to be rid of this surface lot!!!
