Why would they put windows on walls which will be blocked by other towers?

Voids left in the concrete don't necessarily mean there will be windows. It's often cheaper and lighter to leave those spaces empty and then fill them with cinderblocks later.

The different shapes of the floors are very visible in those last two photos.
I can't wait for the glass to appear, should be very futuristic.

This thing looks like an elevator core with no building attached from The Edge, you can't see anything but blank concrete and it looks too thin to have floors. Hopefully it won't be standing there alone for too much longer.

Also, there's no diagram of it. A 642' building already forgotten before it even opens. But you can't get another hotel with better views of the Javits and NJ! Aloft Tagline: "Wonderful views of Newark abound"
