A numbered company, 10090710 Manitoba Limited. I've been meaning to look up its directors or officers to see if there are any familiar names, but have been busy.

But why does that necessarily mean the end of that business? Is that not an extremely premature expectation?

The owner of Santa Lucia on Corydon passed and yet the business carries on?
Asking for a friend & perhaps more people??

I remember the old owners. I knew most of that family. Who owns it now?

Not sure this is the end for the Toad. Here is the obit for the owner.
The go fund me fundraiser for the Toad is mentioned at the bottom of the obit. They are trying to raise money to replace the roof and heating system.

Lung cancer/brain cancer. Lifelong smoker and fast lane liver, had no regrets. I know the family. He was the rock star in the clan.

Just saw Don Togo Apartments listed as 100% leased. Good vote of confidence in South Osborne!

Public Notice up for 821-827 Grosvenor to build a 15-unit MURB. It's the empty lot near Lilac and Ruskin.

So with 160 Mayfair Ave having been torched, it would be nice to see some rowhouses all along Mayfair from Harkness to the Fort Rouge School.

Both that lot and the neighbouring brownfield are both zoned RMFM already.

No doubt! The other boarded up crackshack at 123 Mayfair could also use a good torching.

I'm a little hazy on its state before, but it's current status is the result of a fire back during the winter, I believe. Not that I exactly want to rely on arson or junkies' campfires as an urban development policy tool.

Does anyone know what's going on at Osborne and River? They started to put up patio style fencing around the Gas Station Theatre, but then seemingly stopped midway through... anyone know what the deal is?

What would it be if these get resolved? Outdoor space for the theatre? Looks like a way bigger patio space than I'd expect for the Subway on that corner.
