Chicago seriously needs to outlaw billboards on roofs of buildings.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's 900 W Randolph popping up in the distance - this is looking south from the Armitage brown line station. You can see it standing out at a couple points going around the bends between Armitage and Sedgwick on the train too but I didn't have my phone ready. Definitely making its presence known from a distance.

Is this the furthest west 300m building in Chicago? I know sky bridge was the tallest 300m west of the Kennedy so this must be the new tallest 300m furthest west

Well it's not gonna be a supertall. Maybe you meant 150m?

There are still technicalities. This will be the tallest building this far West of the Kennedy at 495'. Interstingly, the Park Tower Condominium at 5415 N. Sheridan is still a few annoying feet further west at 513'.

160 N. Morgan however is a few feet west of PTC and will become the tallest building this far west in the whole city at just 380'.

Very important stuff here.

Amazing how high this thing has gotten without a single window. Or so it looks.

^ I love how almost out of place and tall this looks at that vantage in this part of town. It would be amazing if in 5-10 years Fulton Market was a continuous westward extension of the skyline!

It looks kind of neat as a concrete skeleton. But yes, can't wait for the windows to come.

Thanks for the pic, Solar!

Somewhere on the forum here someone posted a sample mockup of the windows that were built. They looked awesome. They'll be worth the wait hopefully.

Thank you kindly. This could be a really standout building I think with those. They are definitely a bit unique so I could see them causing some snags in the delivery process.
