Good question. Just a different construction method/design, akin to 1 Vandy and Freedom Tower, but it appears to be paying off in the race to the top for The Spiral.

the stone panels on the bottom few photos are very nice. i had no idea it would have that quality element. great to see it up close.

It looks good. I'll be glad when the facade is at least 1/3 of the way up. Then we can really judge. But this is a massive, heavy tower. People talk about the few slivers that go up, but this is really what NY builds, and why the skyline had to be rescued by the slivers. Meanwhile, the heavyweight bought with the Spiral continues.
