How do they determine this? Seems like bullshit to me There is no way some place in the south isn't 1st
It's just survey data--1500 people per city--so it's hard to imagine that being anywhere close to accurate for something like 'how many times do you swear per day.' But at least we in Phoenix are #1 in something? I'm personally probably under the average for even genteel Phoenix, so maybe it's me and my ilk that are dragging us down (or up?).

Yeah this list is bogus. Born and raised Austinite and I had never heard someone say the F word in public till I went to New York. Something is wrong here. I and many people I know from here don't curse very often. It's seen in real bad taste. This list is fudgen dumb.

Goes to show polls can often be bullshit. It’s very hard to get a random sample via a cross-sectional study, especially when it’s only going to be certain types of people who are even going to answer these polls.

I would of sworn that Salt Lake City would be at the top of the "low swear" list. I guess Mormons swear more than I thought. Also, the Boston Irish in "Southy" swear like sailors. So do the Italians in Philly.

Yeah, but Boston isn’t Southie and Southie isn’t Southie, anymore.
