Wow the Empire State Building would have still been amazing without the spire. So glad they put that on though.

The Jerome Avenue rezoning seems to be off to a good start

I'm annoyed they removed those T bar shaped bracket affairs that once ringed the 102nd floor cupola. They were a very distinctive part of the building's decoration and should have been preserved, even in a single row above the new floor to ceiling glass. Shame on them.

I had mixed feelings about the renovation and change in windows, but it doesn't affect the building overall. And the finished product at the top is worth it. I want them to add the option of visiting the 103rd floor to the public, and not just the VIPs.
