I'm always critical of design especially with a private company like FECI who has deep pockets that can build a aesthetically pleasing train station in downtown Miami.
Instead they have chosen a design that reminds me of the Port Authority Bus Terminal in midtown Manhattan.

The functionally redeeming value of this station is that will connect BrightLine ( All Aboard Florida), Metro Rail , Metro Mover , MetroBus & Tri-Rail Commuter Rail all in one place.
In Addition that they are building towers on top of the rail station too.
