I see another common building in the world. What is really interesting in its architecture to be discussed here? If I will make photos of all constructions in world..., please call me an ambulance soon... One more to be included as building, but that's allllll..

If you look at the renderings you can see that the shadow of the sundial shows on the outside of the building (thats why the glass it tiltes at an angle. You'll be able to see the time by looking at where the shadow falls on the side of the building.

That being said, this is retarded.

Next week, Dubai builds the worlds' largest and shinyest inhabitable toaster.
The building is nothing really but mediocre, if not unattractive. Giving it a contrived "record" is just a sign of desperation imo.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the construction forum? It looks like it's moved well beyond the "proposed" phase.

I don't see what the big deal is. Its obviously not meant to be functional. Skyscrapers are allowed to put up useless spires but they can't put up a sundial design because its in Dubai.
