I must say, "Tokyo Smoke" ain't over here in Paris yet.

As for the rest... Yeah, it's really invasive like Asian mosquitoes.

Daring night shots. I'd like to try it when I have time.

It's interesting because it's not just fast food chains, but it's fast food chains trying to carve out a niche in the downtown of a major city. It's not like chains located a half-mile from an exit ramp in the suburbs.

I'm not sure if I knew the two buildings were abandoned, but they did seem strangely out of place, even in that grittier and less busy part of Yonge Street. Looking closely now, the one on the left obviously has been derelict a long time. No wonder there is a "housing crisis" in Canada.

Oh no, I am not daring enough to use a tripod on a busy sidewalk. Just need a f/1.8 prime lens and very good in-body image stabilization (IBIS). Attract less attention and capture more details of the people. You can move around and react very fast to what is happening. Photo #20, I was crossing the street, I saw the streetcar door opening, so I immediately stopped and turned my camera left and snapped the picture as quickly as possible without thinking.

This lens is very wide so you can get very close to people and they are not afraid. After picture #17, a man even asked me what camera settings I was using. Just going with the flow instead of getting in people's way with a tripod. A tripod is better without people.

A phone wouldn't be able to handle the contrast between the darkness and the very bright lights. A dedicated camera at ISO 100 or 200 will do much better.

Another good one with strong Edward Hopper overtones, I also appreciated it as a fast food tour.
The focal length really takes the right angles away in new directions.
