Great collection of photos! Never been there, but Boise looks like an attractive place. I can see how many project it to grow pretty significantly in the coming years.

You know, Boise is popular city on SSP, but I really look forward to seeing some decent threads for Casper, Cheyenne, Billings, Greatfalls, Bismark, Rapid City, Sioux Falls...

Thanks! It's the big city for a large region of Southern Idaho, Northern Nevada and Eastern Oregon so it has an urban flair to it, especially with all of the growth in the metro area. Downtown is blessed with small walkable blocks, narrow streets and a strong retail market which contributes to the great street engagement.

There are a lot of buildings under construction in downtown and throughout the metropolitan area with no end in sight.

Maybe you will be lucky and someone who lives in one of those cities is lurking at SSP. They are a world away from Boise and on the other side of the Continental Divide. The nearest is Great Falls which is almost 600 miles away.
As an example, here in the Northwest, Portland and Spokane are *only* 430 miles away. Seattle is about 495 miles away.

I might have some snow pics on the way. Les Bois got pounded by mother nature this weekend.

I was in Billings not too long ago, but didn't think of snagging any photos. It's very different from Boise, but I enjoyed my brief visit.

I'd also like to see some more threads of under-represented cities that are roughly same size as Boise, such as Des Moines, Little Rock, Madison, Spokane, and Reno.
